The EU today issued a statement that they are preparing for a no deal Brexit, earlier this evening Prime Minister Johnson in the video interview below warned of, or perhaps, readied the UK public for the same outcome.
Johnson’s analogies are almost as tiresome as his nervous fist waving disorder, posturing as if he is talking to a child and ignoring the fact that he should have already done the job he won an election on, delivering the ‘oven ready deal’ we were all promised a year ago.
Ports around the UK are already experiencing difficulties as Covid impacts and limits maritime trade worldwide. The impact has already stopped essential deliveries and production at manufacturers in the UK like Honda, and the repercussions of a no deal Brexit haven’t even started.
For the already decimated hospitality industry reeling from Covid-19, adding further significant supply chain issues for fresh produce and a much wider range of goods from the EU, will tip more businesses over the edge.
