When you think of the purest expression of love, don’t you immediately think of a kiss? We at Kiss the Hippo definitely do. So, whilst offering the highest quality, most sustainably produced coffee, we also put our absolute heart and soul into everything we do.
When Kiss the Hippo lands in the heart of George Street, we will be bringing along our Loring S15 Falcon, the most advanced and environmentally friendly coffee roasting machine available.
The highly qualified team, working alongside our Q-grader head roaster, will use the Falcon to roast only the most diligently and organically sourced beans from around the world.
Our mission at Kiss the Hippo is to create a new standard by offering an atmosphere dedicated to design and comfort, but with a social feel.
Contemporary and stylish interiors will ensure guests have a very different space in which to work, hold impromptu meetings or relax with friends and family.
In order to enhance our community feel, we will be organising our workshops for those who want to dive into the depths of coffee knowledge. Our ties with the neighbourhood will be further strengthened through links with local charities.
All Kiss the Hippo’s food meanwhile will be created each day in our own kitchen using natural, organic and responsibly sourced ingredients, supplied mainly by local farmers.
Environmental responsibility will be at the heart of Kiss the Hippo; we will be using 100% compostable cups, straws, lids and cutlery. Using bio-bin for recycling will allow us to access the technology that converts waste ground coffee into advanced biofuels and biochemicals.
From beans roasted in our organically certified roastery to our meticulously brewed coffee, we wish to take everyone on a journey of exquisite taste and immaculate attention to detail.
