According to a new survey of 362 businesses in the Thames Valley region 100% of respondents say that developing a relationship with clients is the main purpose for marketing events.
A further 61% say that marketing events are ‘important’ or ‘very important’ for their organisations according to wine business specialist Brill Ideas ltd.
But practically how do organisations do that without the hard sell?
Wine tasting, the survey says, is better than outdoor events with 40% of respondents rating it above outdoor activities.

Over 75% of respondents in the survey about wine tasting agreed that it is fun or that they can’t wait to explore new wines, with no respondent finding wine tasting elitist.
