It was one of the hottest days of the year, but that didn’t deter the crowd at the launch party of Bite Me Burger – Making the world a Burger place.
The cool basement in Holborn welcomed an even cooler crowd with the promise of a new slider sensations, and it certainly didn’t disappoint, infact they were simply Grill-iant.
I know that pun seems bit cheesy but not as wonderfully full of fromage as their delicious Bacon Cheese.
The evening started on the meaty delights of the Classic and the Beef Encounter then moved on to the tasty but perfectly-crunchy-on-the-outside Pluck Me, and then delighted with the juicy Duck Me (which was my favourite)
The Lambtastic was tender and full of flavour, and by this time to crowd was eager to get its hands on the next seductive slider on the menu.
So much so that I missed the opportunity of grabbing a hot-dog. It’s on the list for my next visit.
The cold Siren beer and the ice-cream shakes were refreshing and moreish and the trays overflowed with french fries.
Due to it’s popularity, I didn’t get the opportunity to take away a burger for my daughter, (they come in boxes upto a dozen) but I’m happy with that as I look forward to returning.
A fun venue with great food and a playful relaxed atmosphere.
I’ll definitely be back.
