Hotels has injected its signature style into a collection of Georgian townhouses in the capital’s lively West End, offering urban luxury at an affordable price: a city stay at out of town prices.
Z Hotels at Gloucester Place
The venture is a first for the brand, consisting of a designer conversion of five individual townhouses in Gloucester Place, ideally located between Portman Square and Marylebone Road.
Known for expertly designed and compact accommodation across the portfolio, the hotel invites guests to unwind in beautiful listed buildings with a contemporary and stylish upgrade. New room types are available, including King bedrooms and Junior Suites with additional lounge areas and large wardrobes. Guests in all of the 94 bedrooms will be able to take advantage of the spacious and relaxed Z Café located at 51- 53 Gloucester Place, the biggest yet for Z Hotels.
Z Hotels CLUB at Gloucester Place
At the same time, the hotel has introduced another exciting new concept within this venture. Z Hotels CLUB is a 20 bedroom designer townhouse conversion located at 87 Gloucester Place. With bedrooms designed to the same high standard associated with all Z Hotels, all CLUB bookings include complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks throughout the day, afternoon tea and cocktails. The communal area offers a sociable meeting place where guests can truly make themselves at home.
As with all Z Hotels, each bedroom features a large Samsung HD TV with a full selection of Sky Sports, BT Sports and Sky Movies available at no extra cost, power shower, bespoke hand-crafted bed, luxury bed linen and free Wi-Fi. The hotel will also serve the ever popular complimentary cheese and wine between 5pm and 8pm each evening.
Less than a five minute walk from the shopping hub of the city, Oxford Street, the hotel has a plethora of cafes, restaurants and bars on its doorstop and is perfectly placed for those looking to explore London’s most lively nightlife as well as those travelling to the capital for business.
Bev King, director of Z Hotels comments, “We are really excited to be developing the Z Hotels brand and experimenting with the beautiful Gloucester Place properties. The structure and layout of the townhouses allowed us trying something new, and although the majority of the rooms are bigger, the ethos of Z continues to remain throughout the new hotel.”
