The UK’s largest tenpin bowling operator, The Original Bowling Company, has invested £500,000 in the refurbishment and rebrand of Bowlplex at Ozone Leisure Park.
Completed on the 26th May, the Centre remained open for the duration of the project and celebrated its brand new look with a VIP event on the 16th June, when it officially relaunched as a Hollywood Bowl.
Steve Burns, CEO at The Original Bowling Company said: “The Oxford rebrand follows a similar scheme completed at Bowlplex Poole last month and is the second in a number of significant investments we plan to make in the Bowlplex estate over the next three years.
“The centre has undergone a huge transformation and we are delighted with the excellent reaction we have had from our customers.”
The Oxford Centre is a ‘new generation’ style of Hollywood Bowl, including 24 pre-bookable, fully computerised lanes with plush seating, a new ‘Hollywood Diner’ concept and upgraded bar, with new décor celebrating all things Americana. It even houses a full-size vintage pink Chevy, serving as a dining car.
Visitors can enjoy freshly-made American classics, including burgers, gourmet dogs and shakes and an incredible array of state of the art games in the new look amusement area. The Centre’s revamped bar serves a variety of drinks and traditional cocktails – making it an ideal venue for night time trade.
Hollywood Bowl Oxford is now perfectly positioned as not only a great place to enjoy a game of bowling, but also an entertainment haven for families and adult fun seekers alike.
