Catering delivery company, Kudos Delivered, has just announced that it has won a new contract at Stewart House with Health Education England (HEE) – a body of the NHS that commissions and oversees the training of doctors, nurses and other health professionals – worth up to £400,000.
Kudos Delivered has been providing catering options to HEE since April 2015 and has just won a new contract through a competitive tender basis. The new contract is set to last 24 months and will see Kudos Delivered provide catering for the organisation until March 2018.
The team will provide a variety of catering options ranging from breakfast buffets to evening canapé receptions, although comprehensive lunches will prove the most popular choice for meetings, seminars and training days.
As HEE is a crucial sector of the NHS, innovation and healthy eating were key aspects of this tender, and it was essential to produce a menu that was carbohydrate-free and different from the norm to ensure the food was not too predictable. The Kudos Delivered application included inventive menu options such as Matcha tea shots and interactive food stations in its bid to win.
Managing Director of Kudos Delivered, Nicky Pratt, stated:
“This has been a great result for Kudos Delivered. Winning this tender for such an important part of the NHS is something that we’re really proud of and we couldn’t have done it without our incredibly hardworking team.
“We understood that healthy, innovative food was the goal, and with the help of our team’s culinary expertise, we managed to deliver just that with these menus.
“Having the opportunity to cater for HEE at Stewart House for another two years is a great achievement, and we’re really happy to have found a partner who shares our core food values.”
