OCS has appointed a new UK head of standards and solutions for catering. Paul Cowie has joined OCS to support the company’s catering offering, enhancing customer relationships and driving growth strategy.
Cowie is responsible for leading the continued development of the OCS catering brand and for identifying and optimising delivery models across the group’s UK divisions. He will also be responsible for interpreting market evolution patterns in the catering industry and for creating growth opportunities through innovative and competitive catering solutions.
As the head of standards and solutions for catering, Cowie will report directly to Julie Jackson, head of contract reengineering at OCS, and will recommend short, medium and long term strategies for the company’s catering service. Jane Sheard, CEO UK facilities services for OCS, was pleased to announce Cowie’s appointment to the company: “We are excited to welcome Paul to the facilities services team and look forward to working with him to build on our current success in this key area of the business.”
Cowie joins OCS with 27 years’ experience in contract catering. He began at the coalface of the industry working as a chef for Compass Group. His other roles include operations director for Sodexo and regional director Scotland, BaxterStorey.
