To celebrate the completion of a £600,000 restoration investment programme, Brooklands Museum hosted an exclusive afternoon event to launch and showcase the Vickers suite, its exciting new addition to their hospitality facilities.

The Vickers suite is now able to accommodate 100 guests for private dining, 80 theatre style and 150 for a reception.

60 corporate guests from companies including GSK, Cap Gemini and Air Products experiencedthis special venue and enjoyed an afternoon of networking along with special guest, TV star and celebrated British racing driver, Tiff Needell.
The event started with drinks & canapés in the Motoring exhibition where guests were enthralled by the famous collection of classic cars and motorbikes. Vintage buses then transported guests to the Vickers Suite which was formally opened by Allan Winn, the Director of the Museum and Tiff Needell.
A delicious lunch by award-winning caterers Creativevents followed. The menu included wild mushroom risotto with truffle, rack of lamb with ratatouille and an impressive selection of local cheeses, all presented on stacks of vintage trunks and cases, in keeping with the theme of historic travel.
