An extremely popular Gastro Pub in a beautiful setting in Anglesey is looking to appoint an experienced Sous Chef in the new year. The ideal candidate will have excellent cooking skills and a proven track record of working in a food led environment serving fresh produce.
As Sous chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to help lead and motivate the established team. The role demands a high level of organisational skills to prepare for very busy lunch and dinner service. You will have the ability to combine high volumes with the right standards of quality and consistency.
Maintaining GP percentages, sourcing the best ingredients from local suppliers and maintaining hygiene standards are essential elements to this Sous Chef position.
This is a key role and an excellent opportunity to assist in managing a kitchen. If you currently work in a high end gastro pub or with rosette level food and can demonstrate a stable career history, this could be the opportunity for you.
You will be rewarded with a salary of 25-27k per annum, plus benefits and live in accommodation is available for the right candidate.
