As part of the strategy to revitalize Accor’s economy brands, the ibis family has radically overhauled its subscription program and is today launching the IBIS BUSINESS card. Keen to cater for the specific expectations of frequent business travelers, ibis business is developing a unique offering in the economy segment. On sale from 25 September, it is accepted in almost 1700 ibis, ibis Styles and ibis budget hotels across the world.
Price and availability: two key benefits for individual business customers
Cost savings and flexibility (availability and ease of booking) are the main expectations of this customer segment. To respond to these special needs, the ibis family has formulated the new subscription program: ibis BUSINESS. Subscribers will benefit from:
- 10% reduction in room rates and breakfast prices
- 10% reduction in hotel bars and restaurants, for customers not staying at the hotel also
- additional 5% reduction on some special offers (early booking, summer and winter deals)
- guaranteed room availability up until two days before the customer’s arrival date.
The offer is also valid for ibis budget, the ibis family’s budget brand, with a similar program available exclusively online via the ibis.com website.
Launch rate
To mark its launch in the UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden, the ibis business card will be on sale in the hotels and also on www.ibis.com for only €59/year instead of €9 0/ year, until the end of 2013.
Launch instant-win game
To celebrate the launch of the ibis subscription program, an instant-win game will be organised starting 3 October for one week in participating ibis, ibis Styles and ibis Budget hotels in Europe.
Guests at these hotels will find a game card in their room featuring a code to enter on the web platform www.ibisbusinessgame.com. They will find out instantly whether they have scored one of the 1,000 personal IBIS BUSINESS cards, valid for one year.
