The Red Carnation Hotel Collection was celebrating on 2 July a notable achievement: its domination of TripAdvisor’s London hotel rankings with all top five TripAdvisor places inhabited by five of its luxury London properties.
The top five rankings on TripAdvisor:
- The Egerton House Hotel, Knightsbridge
- The Milestone Hotel, Kensington
- Hotel 41, Belgravia
- The Montague on the Gardens, Bloomsbury
- The Chesterfield Mayfair
The Red Carnation Hotel Collection’s three five-star London hotels have consistently competed for the top spot for London for the last three years, but today their deluxe four-star sister hotels The Montague on the Gardens and The Chesterfield Mayfair join them to complete the top five.
Additionally, all 15 hotels in the Red Carnation Hotels worldwide portfolio (including London, Dorset, Guernsey, Geneva, Ireland, Florida and South Africa) have TripAdvisor Awards for Excellence.
Commitment to standards excellence
Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of Red Carnation Hotel Collection says:
“It’s a fantastic achievement to dominate the top five TripAdvisor rankings for London hotels. Our three London five-star hotels have consistently registered within the top three and to have two of our four-stars join them this week is a huge testament to our commitment to standards excellence and exceptional personalised service across the whole collection.”
Taking full advantage of TripAdvisor’s services for businesses
Alistair MacGregor, UK Territory Manager, TripAdvisor commented, “Red Carnation Hotels are a great example in providing best in class service for their guests, with all five hotels currently ranked at the top of TripAdvisor’s popularity index for London winning Certificates of Excellence this year.
“Not only are Red Carnation Hotels clearly offering great experiences to their guests, but they have also taken full advantage of TripAdvisor’s services for businesses, encouraging guests to share feedback and showcasing TripAdvisor reviews on their own hotels’ websites. Today’s achievement is a testimony to the great work Red Carnation Hotels is doing as a collection, and shows that through dedication and consistent excellence of service, hospitality businesses can rise to the top on TripAdvisor.”
Further recognition for Red Carnation
Red Carnation Hotels was listed as number 26 in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For, which represented a massive leap of 47 places since its debut in the listings the previous year. It has also retained Gold status with the Investors in People, making it the first privately owned hotel company to retain the award worldwide too.
Jonathan Raggett continued: “This commitment to our team comes from the very top, from our President and Founder Mrs Beatrice Tollman, this year’s hotelier of the year at European Hospitality Awards. It’s to this we can attribute our fantastic, consistent delivery of service, which is what keeps guests rating us so highly and coming back to stay with us time and time again.”
