Lusso, the city dining specialist, has won a unique new contract at Level39 in Canary Wharf. Level39 is Europe’s largest technology accelerator for businesses in the finance, retail and future cities industries, which was opened by Mayor of London Boris Johnson on 18 March 2013 – by swiping an iPad!
It is Level39’s ambition to become ‘the’ space that fuses London’s financial and technology sectors. Level39 occupies the entire 39th floor of the iconic One Canada Square building, and will not only provide co-working space to technology startups, but also office space, event space, and a private members club. Due to this mixture of uses, Level39 can connect the entrepreneurs who want to create, test and market their products, to some of the world’s largest and most influential technology buyers.
The 29,000 square foot site will be used by as many as 300 people at any given time. Lusso will supply the Level39 members’ club in four separate respects: hosting a reception and concierge team, offering a la carte dining or all day grazing, providing conference facilities for up to 250 people, and managing the private members’ lounge.
Lusso Managing Director Paul Hurren said, “This is a bold new challenge for us and one that we are delighted to accept. Our flexible approach, speed and quality of response were fundamental in our appointment – and our reputation for providing the best in terms of food and service made us the obvious choice for this unique environment.”
