Flaming Grill pubs will ‘salute the troops’ in a BIG way on National Armed Forces Day as they offer them the chance to take on the infamous 1kg Challenge Burger free of charge.
All 84 Flaming Grill pubs are offering a free main meal, which includes the ‘Flaming Challenge Burger’, on Saturday 29 June for any of the Armed Forces, past or present.
The Challenge burger features two 12oz beef burgers, two breaded chicken breasts and two bacon rashers, topped with chilli beef, mature cheddar and onion rings, served with a well-sized portion of chips.
The challenge
Rachel Bailey, Flaming Grill brand manager, said: “We’re proud to support our troops on Armed Forces Day and we hope they take up the challenge to defeat our burger for free. We know they are incredibly strong characters working in some of the most challenging situations on earth, but our burger is called a challenge for a reason!
“If any troops don’t want to take it on, we’ve also extended the offer to include all main meals to make sure all our armed forces are rewarded.”
Just present ID…
To claim the free Flaming Challenge, or any other main meal on the menu, guests are asked to present their current ID card (or veteran lapel badge) to a team member when placing their order.
