Lisette Maas, Chair of Stadium Experience and Julian Britton, Vice Chair of Stadium Experience have both been shortlisted as finalists in The Stadium Business Awards 2012.
The nominations for The Stadium Business Awards, in association with KPMG, have been announced and Stadium Experience Chair Person Lisette Maas and Vice Chair Person Julian Britton have both been shortlisted as a finalist in the Unsung Hero category, for their invaluable work for the stadium hospitality industry with Stadium Experience.
Speaking of her reaction to the announcement, Lisette Maas commented: “I’m really excited Stadium Experience has been shortlisted at these prestigious awards.
It’s been an important year for the organisation so far. We are celebrating our tenth anniversary and we’re being more proactive than ever in attracting business for all our members. Being shortlisted for this award is a fantastic bonus now we are celebrating a decade”
Echoing Maas’s sentiments, Vice Chair Julian Britton comments that “I am absolutely delighted to be nominated and subsequently shortlisted for the Unsung Hero category.
Our roles within Stadium Experience are voluntary positions, so it is fantastic to get recognition for what Stadium Experience has achieved for non‐matchday hospitality at member sports stadiums across the country.”

Both Julian Britton and Lisette Maas perform their Stadium Experience roles on a voluntary basis, fitting their valuable work alongside their busy day jobs within the stadium hospitality industry.
Lisette Maas is the Event Sales Manager at Notts County Football Club and Julian Britton is Conference and Banqueting Manager at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
Now in their third year, The Stadium Business Awards are the only awards to recognise a whole spectrum of achievements from across the global stadium industry. The awards recognise not only the venue and event of the year, but also individuals from behind the scenes and successful local community projects.
“As the Stadium Business Awards are international,” said Britton, “being shortlisted provides a great opportunity to showcase the activities of Stadium Experience on the world stage to a wide range of sports stadiums and businesses.”
The winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Evening, held during The Stadium Business Summit at the Museo dell’Automobile Turin, Italy on the 15th May 2012.
