Chris Moore, chief executive of The Clink Charity will be speaking at the 5×15 event being held in support of the Royal London Society at Gray’s Inn on Tuesday 1st May 2012 at 7pm.
The Clink Charity is delighted to be supporting The Royal London Society, one of Britain’s oldest charities, in the rehabilitation of ex-offenders, by helping them to develop necessary skills in order to find employment. The 5×15 event brings guests an evening of bite-sized offerings from five outstanding individuals that operate within the field of rehabilitation. Their perspectives and insights on the subject will be presented in a way that will stimulate, engage and inspire the audience making it an event not to be missed.
Chris Moore, chief executive of The Clink Charity comments: “It is a great honour and privilege to have been asked to speak at this event. What we do as a charity takes a lot of hard work and dedication so having the chance to spread the word to others at such a well-respected event is a fantastic opportunity to educate people on what is often a misunderstood topic.”
The Clink Restaurant operates within HMP High Down in Surrey and is pioneering a scheme that aims to reduce the number of reoffenders by equipping prisoners with qualifications, skills and valuable work experience, both in the kitchen and front-of-house, whilst they serve their time before finding full-time employment within the hospitality industry upon their release.
