Sodexo Prestige are about to secure a seven year contract (subject to contract approval) to provide catering services across the prestigious St Edmundsbury Collection.
The diverse portfolio of venues consisting of the apex, The Athenaeum, Abbey Gardens and Moyse’s Hall Museum is currently operated by the council. St Edmundsbury Borough Council (SEBC) were looking to appoint a partner to support them in realising their ambitions for the town and to add value to their event and cultural programmes.
Sodexo Prestige emphasised to the Council their commitment of ‘local venues for local people’, and through significant investment will look to develop the venues’ offerings across meetings, conferences, private parties and weddings, as well as create exciting new public catering outlets. Both SEBC and Sodexo Prestige are striving to provide a centre of excellence for a high quality, efficient service coupled with an innovative approach to promoting these venues as a showcase for outstanding local and ethically sourced food.
