Beatles hotel makes two key internal promotions

November 30, 2011

Liverpool’s four star, Beatles-inspired Hard Days Night Hotel is delighted to announce the promotion of two long-serving employees to senior positions both back and front of house.

Jacci Smith will assume the Executive Head of Housekeeping role and will lead a 20 strong team of linen porters, room attendants, supervisors and outside contractors. Jacci will take responsibility for servicing the boutique hotel’s 110 guest bedrooms and suites as well as the hotel’s public areas and function rooms.

Jacci has extensive experience in the hospitality industry having worked for large hotel chains such as Crown Plaza and Radission. Jacci was part of the original launch team for Hard Days Night Hotel and has been with the hotel since it opened in February 2008:

“My passion has always been in the luxury hotel industry. People often forget how important behind the scenes touches are in a hotel, and I am pleased to be part of an institution that has such great emphasis on quality and attention to detail.”

Hard Days Night Hotel has also promoted Clare Little from Assistant Manager to Front of House Manager.

Clare will be responsible for the daily management of the reception team and the night reception team, ensuring that all guests are well looked after and receive excellent customer service. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Clare will assist in both recruitment and training of the team and management of department rotas, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk at all times.

General Manager Mike Dewey added: “We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Jacci and Clare, who have been with us from the very beginning. I know that we will benefit from their excellent focus on first class customer service and attention to detail. This is what really sets us apart from the competition in Liverpool’s highly competitive hospitality industry.”

Hard Days Night Hotel is a four star, Beatles-inspired hotel located at the heart of Liverpool city centre’s historic Beatles quarter. Set in a grade II listed building, the boutique hotel features exclusive artwork by world-renowned Beatles artists such as Klaus Voorman and Shannon, and is home to Blakes restaurant and the exclusive Bar Four.

The hotel opened to much acclaim in February 2008, and has since become the destination of choice for visitors and music fans from all over the world.
