Clifton Food Range causes a stir with the Portable Clamp-On Digital Immersion Circulator
Clifton Food Range offers sous vide water baths and accessories which have been developed and manufactured by the company in the United Kingdom. A new addition to the range is a space-saving, clamp-on immersion circulator, ideal for chefs who travel and want portability or have limited space in the kitchen.
The immersion circulator can be fitted within minutes to a standard gastronorm tank or round, straight sided circular pot with a minimum 30cm diameter and 15cm depth with a maximum volume of 56 litres. The unit uses the same precision controller found on other Clifton Food Range products and temperature is displayed clearly to the accuracy of 0.1 °C. The integrated timer can be set between 1 minute and 99 hours and there is audio/visual notification at the end of the set period after which the circulator still continues to operate at the set temperature. Current time and temperature settings are retained in memory even after ‘power off.’
