The popular Resysta range from GO IN has new variants for 2011, as well as the addition of different coloured wood stains to match different décor preferences. The range features the innovative material, Resysta, which looks just like tropical hardwood but is 100% wood-free, requires little maintenance, is long-lasting and eco-friendly. The use of Resysta will reduce the demand for tropical hardwood and help to save the World’s endangered forests.
The material itself is the result of ten year’s research. Resysta is a fibre-reinforced hybrid made from approximately 60% rice husk, 22% common salt and 18% mineral oil.
This makes it environmentally-friendly and extremely weather resistant against sun, rain, snow or salt-water.
Resysta looks like real wood but is dimensionally stable, rot-free, swell-free, crack-free and splinter-free. It requires minimal maintenance and is 100% recyclable.
Because it looks like the hardwood it replaces, Resysta is well-suited to a range of traditional and contemporary designs. New colour stains have been introduced to ensure the range complements the overall décor and other wood finishes.
There are several styles available including a new stackable chair, with arms, featuring Resysta slats and an aluminium frame available in three finishes (anodised stainless-steel look, silver powder coated and black powder coated.
Existing styles include; an elegant aluminium-framed table and bench combination; a sophisticated and comfortable table and stackable chair design in stainless steel; and a design similar to traditional folding garden chairs with matching folding table models.
