Mr Sattar said: “Robert has previously operated the hotel when it was at its height. He will lead the team from the kitchen, where his talent and passion for cooking will take the hotel into a new era.
In particular, he will introduce new menus and wines and reopen the a la carte restaurant as soon as possible. Robert has worked for Morris Inns Ltd in the past and has also managed and cooked in various restaurants in the local area as well as in Stirling and Glasgow.
More recently he worked for the G1 Group in Glasgow and is delighted to take up the role at Redstones Hotel.”
