Hotel staff and guests caught up in a vomiting bug outbreak could claim thousands of pounds in compensation if evidence of negligence can be found, lawyers have claimed.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) last night confirmed that almost 80 people working or staying at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow city centre are ill with suspected norovirus.
Members of the board’s Outbreak Control Team estimated that 58 guests have experienced symptoms since the outbreak began on Wednesday . They are now recovering, although one guest who has shown symptoms is still in the hotel. Another 17 hotel staff are recovering at home from the virus…more
