Villeroy & Boch Tableware has appointed Simon Page as the new UK Managing Director of the lifestyle ceramics brand effective from 1st January 2011. Mr Page, who has extensive experience as a director of the Aga Rangemaster and Moores Furnishings groups, will join Villeroy & Boch in November 2010 for a handover period with current Managing Director Patrick Heeley, who is retiring at the end of 2010 after 22 years of leading the UK company. Mr Page will be responsible for the home retail and also the Hotel & Restaurant division which supplies tableware to the finest hotels and restaurants around the world.
Simon Page has significant retail and wholesale experience as a company director focused in sales, marketing, strategy and management to enable him to continue to drive Villeroy & Boch forward as the aspirational leader in the tableware market. He brings with him the value of previously working with leading retail brands including the Aga Rangemaster Group’s ‘Aga Shop’, ‘Agalinks’ and ‘Fired Earth’.
