The Adam Handling Collection has announced two senior appointments as the business prepares for further growth over the next two years.

Nicola Gartenberg has been promoted to Managing Director, while Kyle Lewis has joined the Collection as Executive Chef.
Gartenberg has worked with the business for more than nine years, progressing from Operations Coordinator to Executive Director in 2021, when she also joined the board.
During that period, she has overseen site openings and supported the development of the Collection’s restaurant portfolio, including Frog by Adam Handling and Ugly Butterfly.
Both restaurants currently hold one Michelin star.
Gartenberg has also previously been recognised through the Acorn Awards’ 30 Under 30 in 2020 and CODE Hospitality’s Women of the Year in 2023.
In her new role, she will continue to oversee the development and performance of the existing portfolio alongside new business growth and expansion, with a particular focus on plans for 2027 and 2028.
Nicola Gartenberg, Managing Director of the Adam Handling Collection, said: “I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Adam Handling Collection and excited about what lies ahead. I’m committed to continuing to build on what we’ve achieved so far, supporting the team and helping the business grow. We have some exciting plans for the future, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Adam and the wider team to take the collection into its next chapter.”
Lewis has joined as Executive Chef and will work alongside Adam Handling to oversee food operations and support the development of kitchens and teams across the Collection.
He most recently served as Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at The Cumberland and previously held the same position at The Savoy.
His wider career includes experience with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, three-Michelin-starred Per Se in New York and Michelin-starred and AA Rosette hotels across the UK and Europe.
Adam Handling MBE, Chef Owner of the Adam Handling Collection, said: “Nicola has been an integral part of this business for around ten years, and she has played a huge role in getting us to where we are today. She has taken on some of our most challenging openings and been there through the toughest periods, always finding a way to keep things moving forward. The success of the Collection has always come down to the people behind it and the hard work, dedication and talent of the team. Nicola embodies that, and she is someone I trust completely. She has been doing the job for a long time already, so it feels right that the title now reflects that. Kyle’s appointment is also an important step for the business as we look ahead to an exciting period of growth. His experience will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop our kitchens and food offering across the Collection. We have some really exciting plans ahead, and I know Nicola and Kyle will both play important roles in taking the business forward.”
Founded by Adam Handling MBE, the Collection operates restaurants, bars and food and drink businesses across London, Berkshire and Cornwall.
Its portfolio includes Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden, Ugly Butterfly in Newquay, The Loch & the Tyne in Old Windsor, The Tartan Fox in Cornwall, Eve Bar and The Adam Handling Chocolate Shop in Covent Garden.
The wider business also includes Ahrelia Caviar, which supplies caviar to chefs and hospitality operators.
The appointments come as the Collection prepares for a period of expansion across 2027 and 2028.
