Seasoned, a leading caterer committed to positive social impact, has announced a donation of £31,966 to Sanctus, a charity dedicated to providing support and services to vulnerable individuals.
Supporting the local community is a huge part of the social goodness manifesto at Seasoned and its support of Sanctus has been a long-standing relationship. Sanctus, based in Chelmsford, Essex, offers a range of essential services, including meals, mental health support, and practical assistance to those in need of help to regain stability in increasingly tough situations.
Seasoned formed an initiative in which it would donate £1 for every cover booked throughout the last 12 months which helped raise this substantial donation which will significantly bolster Sanctus’s capacity to deliver these crucial services, enhancing their ability to make a positive impact on the lives of many. The Sanctus initiative is an example of Seasoned being a force for good and with a mission to spread social goodness this donation will help support the homeless and vulnerable of Essex.
“We are proud to support Sanctus in their mission to help those who are most vulnerable in our community,” said Colin Sayers, Managing Partner of Seasoned. “At Seasoned, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to social goodness and our desire to make a meaningful difference.”
“As a charity, we are thrilled that Seasoned have chosen to support us, their practical help and advice coupled with their incredibly generous and significant financial donation will continue to make a real and tangible difference to the lives of the vulnerable individuals that we support” said Emma Hughes, CEO of Sanctus. “We are incredibly happy that the support has come about as a result of support given by Sanctus, to Seasoned employees some years prior in their recovery from homelessness, addiction and unemployment. Thank you to the inspirational individuals for highlighting our work and thank you to Seasoned for supporting Sanctus to go from strength to strength.”
The funds will be used to expand Sanctus’s outreach programs, provide more meals, and enhance the support services offered to those struggling with homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues. The donation is part of Seasoned’s broader corporate social responsibility initiative, which focuses on supporting local communities and charitable organizations.
The partnership between Seasoned and Sanctus underscores the importance of contributions to local charities and highlights the positive outcomes that can be achieved when businesses engage in generosity. The work that Sanctus do in the community has had a significant impact on Seasoned as a member of their team was a beneficiary of the incredible work that Sanctus do across Essex, and this was a very important factor in him turning his life around and finding work with Seasoned.
