The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has announced the appointment of new Marketing Communications Manager, Milvas Burnice.
Burnice brings extensive experience in designing competitive, go-to-market strategies for hotel brands, and joins The Churchill from Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi – a concept by Hyatt, where she held the role of Marketing Communications Manager.
During her time with the Hyatt brand, Burnice was responsible for driving the marketing communications function at three brands in Abu Dhabi – Andaz Capital Gate, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, and Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Residences, where she was pivotal in implementing innovative marketing activities aligned with business and corporate marketing strategies.

Burnice’ key successes over recent years include leading the launches of the Shala Beach Lounge & Maté Restaurant at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, & Cyan Brasserie at Andaz Capital Gate, where she spearheaded the successful repositioning of Andaz Capital Gate as one of the leading F&B destinations in Abu Dhabi.
Originally from Kenya, Burnice studied Public Relations & Marketing at Daystar University, together with Brand Communications & Advertising with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communications at the International School of Advertising. She then began her career at Villa Rosa Kempinski, a landmark of luxury in Nairobi city, where she worked for three years. In 2017, she moved to Zanzibar to join the Hyatt brand, taking the Marketing Communications Manager role at Park Hyatt Zanzibar, where she remained for two years.
Of her new role, Burnice said: “I am very excited to join the team at this iconic London hotel, which has a wonderful reputation and a unique heritage, as well as continue my career with Hyatt.
