“The Pub Governing Body, the organisation responsible for promoting the advancement and improvement of Landlord (Pub Owning Companies) and Tied Tenant relationships in the licensed retail sector confirmed on 25th March 2021 that rent review negotiations that were suspended can recommence from 31 March 2021, following the government’s decision to allow pubs that are able to comply with specific safeguarding measures to reopen.”
The statement follows suspension of all rent reviews on 7 January 2021 during the pandemic.
