Please eat well to help hospitality students in and around Brixton

March 27, 2021

On Monday 1st March, The Clink resumed training at the restaurant in HMP Brixton with a small number of students.

Throughout the pandemic, all our training projects were closed, with no training undertaken for almost a year. This means that our students have not worked towards their qualifications in hospitality since March 2020, and ultimately, this will have a detrimental effect on their learning and development post-release.

Since Clink@Home was introduced last year, a few students have been able to spend a bit of time on their training but in order to receive the City & Guilds National Vocational Qualifications they are working towards, continuous experience in fine dining is needed.

This is where you can help

As restrictions ease from Monday 29th March, we are all looking forward to the promise of seeing loved ones, spending time outside and enjoying sunnier weather.

If you have some socially-distanced meet-ups planned, why not let us worry about the catering?

The current Clink@Home menu is delicious and has been carefully chosen to enable our students to work on different modules needed for their qualifications.

Dishes include vegetable gyoza with soy chilli dipping sauce, jerk chicken with rice & peas and coleslaw and chocolate & almond torte. We have all the classic sides available too including potato wedges and garlic bread as well as drinks and retail items.

With 60 delivery slots available every Weds, Thurs and Fri within a 10 mile radius of HMP Brixton our students are waiting to prepare a delicious meal for you.

Please order a delivery from Clink@Home and help us continue to change attitudes, transform lives and create second chances for those who want, need and deserve them.
