We’re an award-winning family business, specialising in the cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchens and equipment for the FM and catering industries.
As we’ve grown, we’ve stayed true to the values and service ethos of a family business. That’s why we were so thrilled to be the London and South East Family Business of the Year runner-up at the 2019 Family Business Awards.
We were also the 2016, 2017 and 2018 winners of ‘Best Commercial Kitchen Cleaning & Maintenance Company, UK & Ireland’ at the Build Magazine FM Awards.
How it all began
Founded in 1986 by our Chairman Alan Osborn, we were a small outfit in the beginning. Alan had a phone, an orange crate for a desk and very little else! But he soon took on his second employee, George Baffoe, who is still with us now.
Then in 1989, Alan’s son Barry, now our Managing Director, joined the business. He was followed by his brother, Jon, who joined the team as Finance Director in 1990.
A national business
Our HQ is in Essex and we have operational centres in London and Leeds. And with a team of service partners across the UK, we can support clients on a national basis. Wherever our customers are, they’ll be looked after by a local team who’s just around the corner.
We work day and night, offering overnight deep cleans at no extra cost, which means our clients’ normal operations are not disrupted.
We clean and maintain kitchens for some of the best-known names in the catering, food services and hospitality industries, such as; Baxter Storey, Elior, CH&CO and Bartlett Mitchell, to name a few. But we have clients of all types, sizes and budgets.
We also have many long-standing contracts with colleges, care homes and healthcare providers.
The majority of our work comes from recommendations, which is testament to the dedication and professionalism of our staff. Our dedicated account managers and service coordinators make sure that our clients are completely happy with the service they receive.
A one-stop shop
In 1996 we stepped into the world of maintenance. And we’re still one of the few UK firms to offer both cleaning and maintenance. Whether it’s a kitchen deep clean, ductwork or maintenance contract, clients can save themselves time with just one call, one invoice and one trusted team.
All our work is carried out in accordance with the European Regulations EC852/2004, the Food Safety & Hygiene (England) Regulations and COSHH. And we’re accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, BS EN ISO 14001: 2015 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001: 2007 (health and safety).

Our green credentials
Limiting the effect of the work we do on the environment is important to us. That’s why the cleaning chemicals we use are food safe, alkaline-based, more than 98% biodegradable, and conform to EU legislation.
Our environmental commitment is recognised by our ISO 14001 accreditation and an award of match funding from Low Carbon Business. We are also a Gold member of the Essex Wildlife Trust’s ‘Investors in Wildlife’ scheme.
Something you might not know about us
As well as regular cleaning and maintenance, we also offer clients specialist services, including; cleans following fire or water damage, window cleaning, external building cleaning, and fog sanitisation.
Nasty bugs like Norovirus, C Difficile, MRSA and E.Coli can sweep through closed environments like schools and care homes. Fifteen minutes per room is all it takes our fog sanitisation service to eradicate the bugs that cling to hard surfaces. It’s safe, affordable and highly effective, immobilising and killing 99.99% of all bacteria, viruses and fungi within thirty seconds.
