London, August 2019 – John Stawicki has been appointed Executive Chef for ME London Hotel, including renowned STK London, Radio Rooftop Bar, and hotel lobby bar, Marconi Lounge.
Originally from Poland, Chef Stawicki has developed his skills throughout a diverse range of venues in London over the last twenty-four years including private members clubs, to renowned restaurants and luxury hotels. He brings with him a wealth of experience in menu development, designing luxury dining experiences and training and mentoring teams.
John began his career in 1995 at the first Soho House, followed by Dell’ugo in 1996 before training at L’Escargot, in 2000. In 2009, he joined the Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows at Hilton Park Lane Hotel London, before moving to the Sofitel St James Hotel London where he worked on the re-opening of The Balcon Restaurant. Since 2012, John has been heading up restaurants and food & beverage within luxury hotels including the Booking Office at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Indigo Restaurant at One Aldwych Hotel and during his last tenure, he has been Executive Chef at Amba Hotels.
