Pride of Britain Hotels – the collection of 50 luxury independently-owned British hotels – is delighted to announce that Dan Rose–Bristow, Joint Managing Director of The Torridon, in the Scottish Highlands, has been voted in as Chairman, taking over from Kate Levin who has held the position for the last two years.
Dan has gained recognition in the hospitality industry as a Master Innholder and he is also Joint Managing Director of Pride of Britain member The Torridon, the only hotel in Scotland to win AA Scottish Hotel of the Year twice. Danhas been a board member of Pride of Britain Hotels for several years and more recently, has acted as Vice-Chairman.
With a self-imposed limit of 50 properties to guarantee quality and exclusivity, Pride of Britain Hotels’ membership continues to go from strength to strength with four new hotels accepted during the last 12 months. Admission to the group is subject to each hotel successfully passing an anonymous overnight inspection and a ballot of the membership. All members adhere to strict guidelines, which include exceptional levels of hospitality and service.
