Luton grabs a slice of action with the launch of the UK’s first Pizza Hut Delivery concept store

May 15, 2018

Pizza Hut Delivery has unveiled a brand-new concept store – and is pioneering the approach in Luton The new store has created over 20 jobs for the area, with further roles in the pipeline  Offering fast casual delivery, the concept store puts guests experience at the top of the menu Pizza Hut Delivery has unveiled an exciting, brand-new concept store offering delivery, dine in and collection in Luton, the first of its kind in the UK.

Following an initial investment of £250,000 the Luton flagship store has created 28 new jobs to date, with further roles up for grabs as the Hut is on the hunt for talented individuals to join its growing team, with back of house, front of house and driver roles available.

Showcasing the brand’s innovative approach, the new design features fresh, bold colours, creating a modern and vibrant atmosphere. Placing the customer at the heart of the Hut experience, for the first time, the store will include a contemporary open plan kitchen, enabling customers to watch the progress of their pizza – from dough to plate.

With the flexibility for customers to choose how they enjoy their pizza, the store will either deliver straight to a customer’s home, package it up for a lunch on the go or – for the first time – offer customers the choice to enjoy their pizza in the Hut.

Ideally situated on Park Street, close to the University campus, the Hut’s delicious menu features a express pizza and Pepsi lunch deal, perfectly designed for students who want to take a well-earned break from their studies. With mouth-watering pizzas, including firm favourites such as Pepperoni Feast and Margherita, the menu will also include a new nine-inch pizza for pizza lovers on the go. It’s guaranteed to make any cheese lover melt with excitement!

Restaurant Manager Ali said, “We are really excited to launch Pizza Hut Delivery’s first concept store in the UK and we’re confident that guests will be really impressed with the new look.

“What’s more, our new menu is packed with deals and tasty options including favourites such as the Pepperoni Feast, Vegetable Supreme and our new desert, Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.”

Neil Manhas, General Manager, UK said:

I am delighted to announce the opening of our first fast casual delivery store in the UK in Luton. Our Delivery business has bold plans to enhance our customer experience, by making it easier and faster to enjoy a better pizza and this new store design will play an important role in helping us to deliver on this ambition. With a vibrant, modern and fun design, we’re putting our customers at the heart of the experience, offering them the chance to collect, eat in or enjoy our ‘five minute’ Express lunch, as well as offering the delivery options that we’re known for.

Over the coming months and years we will roll out this design and concept across new stores and our existing portfolio and it will form a key part of our expansion plans in the UK.
