Celebrity chefs and industry heroes gathered at Westminster Kingsway College to celebrate the launch of successful industry organisation The Chefs’ Forum, and to inspire students for the future.
Professional Chef and Hospitality students from Westminster Kingsway College prepared and served canapés for over 50 top chefs from across the UK, including Pierre Koffmann and Ruth Rogers as well as the newly-crowned BBC Food Personality of the year, Cyrus Todiwala. The chef students were led and mentored by TV Chef, Arthur Potts Dawson and Allan Pickett (Plateau).
Guests also received presentations by Philip Tanswell of Cornish Sea Salt and Ruth Rogers, Co-Founder of the famous River Cafe with her Head Chef Joseph Trivelli. This was followed by acclaimed haute cuisine practitioner Pierre Koffmann who spoke of his life in the industry followed by a question and answers session with the Westminster Kingsway College students.
Geoff Booth, Assistant Principal of the School of Hospitality at Westminster Kingsway College, said:

Support for the next generation
Top chefs from across London showed their support for forging stronger links with the College and enthusing the next generation of chefs and front of house professionals. Founded in 2010 by Catherine Farinha, the long-anticipated London Launch was a very proud day for all involved. The Chefs’ Forum serves to bridge the gap between education, industry, inspiring young chefs and front-of-house professionals. All Chefs’ Forum Member Chefs hold different foodie accreditations, including Michelin Stars, AA Rosettes and Good Food Guide cooking scores.
