Last week’s Hotelympia exhibition – the UK’s largest exhibition for foodservice and hospitality – was the scene of fierce competition between football clubs. No ‘league’ involved on this occasion: instead, they were cooking for supremacy in the ‘Major International Catering/Football Stadia Awards’.
And it was Football Clubs who took the top honours:
Gold: Aston Villa – Richard Dutton and Ross Firren
Silver: Everton – Antony Smith and Darren Ryder
Bronze: Newcastle United – Lee Bates and Conrad Blair
Bronze: Morecambe – Graham Aimson and Douglas Fishwick
Merit: Arsenal and Chelsea
