Ennismore has announced the signing of Mondrian Bodrum in partnership with Cactus Group, marking the lifestyle hotel brand’s debut in Türkiye and further expanding its presence across Europe and the Mediterranean.

The development will involve transforming an existing resort on Türkiye’s Aegean coast into an adults-only property featuring 108 rooms, suites and villas.
The resort will be redesigned by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house creative studio, drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage and natural surroundings of the Turkish coastline.
The project will combine accommodation with an extensive food, beverage and leisure offering, including five dining and nightlife venues, a beach club and dedicated wellness facilities.
Overlooking the Aegean Sea, the resort will feature a swimming pool, outdoor terraces and a redesigned beach club, alongside a private pier and water sports facilities.
Approximately 400 sq m will be dedicated to wellness, incorporating a spa with treatment rooms, a traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, gym and movement studio.
Food and beverage will form a central part of the development, with five venues planned across the resort.
Paris Society’s Mimi Kakushi, designed by Pirajean Lees, will introduce its Japanese dining concept to Türkiye for the first time. The restaurant will occupy two levels, featuring a dedicated sushi counter and cocktail bar.
Kyma Beach Club will offer Greek-inspired cuisine in a waterfront setting, while SIPS will operate as a late-night cocktail venue.
House of Ruins will serve as an all-day dining restaurant, lounge and cocktail bar, incorporating spaces for private dining, art exhibitions, events and cultural activities.
Completing the food and beverage offering, Paris Society Consulting will oversee the redevelopment of Aloha Bakery, introducing a new approach to the existing French bakery concept.
Louis Abi Abboud, Group Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer of IMEAT & APAC at Ennismore, said:
“The signing of Mondrian Bodrum marks an exciting milestone in the brand’s continued international growth, strengthening our presence across Europe and the Mediterranean while introducing Mondrian to Türkiye for the first time. Bodrum has become one of the region’s most compelling lifestyle destinations, attracting a creative, culturally curious international audience that makes it a natural fit for the brand. With its extraordinary Aegean setting, bold approach to design and ambitious collection of restaurants, bars and social spaces, Mondrian Bodrum will bring a distinctive new hospitality experience to this dynamic market.”
The development forms part of Cactus Group’s continued investment in hospitality and leisure experiences in Bodrum.
The family-owned business is working with Ennismore to develop the property as a destination combining accommodation, restaurants, entertainment and cultural activities.
Nurçe Erben, Chairwoman of Cactus Group, said:
“As a third-generation member of our family-run business, I am proud to build on our heritage while shaping a new chapter for our portfolio. With Mondrian Bodrum, we are bringing together Mondrian, Mimi Kakushi and Kyma to create a lifestyle destination where hospitality, dining, culture and social experiences come together throughout the day. This vision is a natural evolution of what we began with Ruins Bodrum, a social club inspired by the vernacular architecture and natural surroundings of ancient cities. It reflects our ambition to continue creating distinctive experiences that resonate with both our local community and international guests.”
Hospitality consultancy Servotel has played a central role in bringing together Cactus Group, Ennismore and the partners behind the resort’s proposed food and beverage concepts.
The agreement also marks the introduction of Mimi Kakushi to the Turkish hospitality market.
Robin Kestek, Partner and Chief Business Strategy Officer at Servotel, said:
“Building on Servotel’s longstanding hospitality legacy, we are proud to have brought Cactus Group and Ennismore together to realise this vision. Mondrian Bodrum brings an exciting new dimension to the destination’s luxury lifestyle offering: a thoughtfully curated setting where wellbeing, entertainment and art come together, drawing guests and the wider local community into the distinctive social rhythm of Bodrum from day into evening.”
The signing adds to Mondrian’s international development programme, which includes properties in Cannes, Bordeaux and Ibiza, alongside destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Australia and the Americas.
For Ennismore, Mondrian Bodrum represents a further step in expanding its lifestyle hospitality portfolio through partnerships with regional operators and developers.
An opening date for the resort has not yet been announced.
