The Cut & Craft Completes £1.5m Expansion at Redical’s Victoria Leeds

July 15, 2026

Victoria Leeds, the lifestyle destination owned and operated by Redical, has announced that The Cut & Craft has completed a £1.5m expansion of its Leeds restaurant.

The Cut & Craft, Victoria Leeds

The British premium steak restaurant has expanded following its initial success at the destination.

Located in Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft now spans 12,375 sq ft.

The expanded restaurant includes two private dining rooms on the first floor, a new luxury bar area and a dedicated stage on the ground floor for late-evening entertainment and live music.

The reinvestment will significantly elevate the guest experience and allow for an extended menu of premium bar snacks and small plates.

The expansion takes the restaurant’s overall number of covers to 370.

It marks the first of The Cut & Craft’s sites to undergo such an extensive investment.

The project also demonstrates Redical’s commitment to supporting existing tenants, while reflecting Victoria Leeds’ position as a leading lifestyle destination with a strong food and beverage offer.

The transformed restaurant features deep blue furnishings, brushed metalwork and a rich, heritage-inspired palette.

The design is in keeping with Victoria Quarter’s historic Grade II listed features, while maintaining a refined and luxurious atmosphere.

James Edmondson, Asset Manager at Redical, said: “The Cut & Craft wholeheartedly demonstrates the standard and quality we work to cultivate, and this significant reinvestment from the brand into Victoria Leeds demonstrates our continued commitment to supporting and nurturing independent businesses in the city.

“The brand’s significant expansion at the destination and comes as a direct result of its continued success within Victoria Quarter’s mixed-use space.

“It will not only enable them to serve a greater number of guests, but also reflects the level of confidence our hospitality tenants have in us as they seek ways to capitalise on the growing success of the destination.”

Darioush Shahidi, Operations Director at The Cut & Craft, added: “Our reputation is synonymous with not only a premium menu, but also a luxurious atmosphere, and our newly launched Victoria Quarter space will undoubtedly live up to that.

“Our decision to reinvest into the destination comes as a direct result of the staggering success we have experienced thus far, and we know our trajectory will continue to climb ever higher as we’re now able to welcome more guests than ever before.”

The Cut & Craft’s expansion is the latest in a series of tenant and landlord reinvestments into Victoria Leeds.

So far in 2026, investment at the destination has totalled more than £2.5m.

The ongoing reinvestment reflects a gradual transformation of Victoria Leeds, supporting its position as a destination for a diverse and elevated range of brands.
