Mangia’s Hotels & Resorts has announced the entry of Mangia’s Sardinia Resort into Autograph Collection Hotels, effective from July 2026.

The resort becomes part of the international Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, strengthening Mangia’s growth and presence within the premium hospitality sector.
The move forms part of the group’s broader strategy in northern Sardinia, particularly Santa Teresa Gallura, where Mangia’s has invested in complementary hospitality offerings.
These include an adults-oriented resort and a beach club, contributing to the development of a destination able to cater to a wide range of audiences and stay requirements.
The collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy is already under way with Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily, Autograph Collection.
With the addition of the Sardinian resort, the group further consolidates a hospitality model that combines Italian identity, international standards and the enhancement of the destinations in which it operates.
Hotel Investment Partners, one of the leading owners of resort hotels in Southern Europe and owned by funds managed by Blackstone and GIC, has invested €65 million as part of a multi-year asset transformation programme.
The programme was developed in several phases between 2023 and 2026.
Works covered rooms, restaurants, common areas, outdoor spaces, sports facilities, meeting venues and guest services.
These have been redesigned according to the principles of biophilic design, with the aim of repositioning the resort to international quality standards while remaining in harmony with the landscape and identity of the Gallura region.
Located in Santa Teresa Gallura, overlooking the La Maddalena Archipelago, Mangia’s Sardinia Resort, Autograph Collection is designed for a broad international audience.
With 589 rooms, almost all featuring a private terrace and sea view, the resort caters to families, couples seeking an adventure-driven holiday, senior travellers, groups of friends and the MICE segment.
The food and beverage offering is centred around All-Inclusive Sublime, a premium plan designed to offer a distinctive dining experience from breakfast through to dinner.
Guests can enjoy a combination of buffet and à la carte restaurants, complemented by snacks, signature cocktails and a selection of beverages served across the resort’s bars.
Mediterra Restaurant, Donna Floriana Bistrot, Al Grano Pizzeria and Scausu Grill, together with the other outlets, create a dine-around experience inspired by the flavours and excellence of Italian cuisine.
The resort completes its offer with two swimming pools, the Main Pool and the Caprera Pool, which is dedicated to families and children.
Facilities also include a Sport Center, Fitness Center, meeting space, business centre and Kids Club, creating an experience designed to meet the needs of families, couples, groups and MICE guests.
The new positioning enhances the connection between the resort and its surroundings.
Mangia’s Sardinia Resort, Autograph Collection provides a gateway to Gallura and its identity, from the sea and the Strait of Bonifacio to coastal culture, local traditions and a way of experiencing holidays connected to nature and the rhythms of the island.
This is encapsulated in the concept “More than an Italian summer, un’estate italianissima”: a contemporary take on the Italian holiday, designed for international guests seeking comfort, high-quality service and an authentic connection with the destination.
The approach is aligned with the spirit of Autograph Collection Hotels, which brings together more than 265 independent hotels in desirable destinations around the world, each with its own story and identity.
Joining Autograph Collection Hotels also invites guests to enjoy the benefits of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel programme.
Among the distinctive elements of the Autograph Collection experience, the resort also introduces its Autograph Moment: Il Primo Sole, meaning The First Sun.
The morning ritual is inspired by ancient Corsican-Gallurese cultures and their connection with natural elements.
Each morning, guests are invited to celebrate the start of the day with a shared moment paying tribute to light, wind and stone, symbols of Gallura’s identity.
Guided by a host, guests discover the meaning behind the contemporary ritual before raising a toast with a signature breakfast cocktail made with citrus, white myrtle, rosemary and local aromatic herbs, accompanied by local breakfast delicacies.
Sustainability remains an integral part of the property’s repositioning journey.
Mangia’s Sardinia Resort, Autograph Collection has obtained BREEAM certification, issued in September 2024 and valid until 2027, recognising the project’s commitment to the environment, energy efficiency and the preservation of the surrounding landscape.
“With the entry of Mangia’s Sardinia Resort into Autograph Collection Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, we celebrate much more than a milestone: it represents the recognition of a vision that places the quality of Italian hospitality and the strength of our destinations at its centre,” said Marcello Mangia, Chairman and CEO of Mangia’s.
“We have invested to restore value to an extraordinary place, creating a resort that engages with the world while preserving its own identity.
“Gallura holds a unique heritage of landscapes, culture and authenticity, and our goal is to offer international guests an experience that allows them to live it authentically.
“Joining Autograph Collection Hotels enables us to bring this vision to a global stage, demonstrating that the excellence of Italian hospitality stems from a deep connection with the territory.”
As part of the resort’s ongoing evolution, further initiatives are also in the pipeline.
These include the opening of a spa and a splash water area dedicated to families, further strengthening the resort’s leisure, wellness and family offer.
