Lucknam Park Appoints David Griffin as General Manager Ahead of Spa and Wellness Investment

June 16, 2026

Lucknam Park, Emblems Collection, has appointed David Griffin as General Manager.

David Griffin, General Manager, Lucknam Park

Griffin joins the luxury country estate at a time of planned investment and development, with a series of enhancements scheduled for the property’s spa and wellness facilities.

Bringing more than two decades of senior hospitality leadership experience, Griffin has held management positions across a number of luxury hotels and country estates in the UK. He is recognised for his experience in operational leadership, commercial performance and guest experience development.

His appointment comes as Lucknam Park prepares to undertake several projects aimed at strengthening its wellness offering. Planned developments include the refurbishment of the estate’s outdoor hydrotherapy pool to create a year-round wellness environment, alongside a complete refurbishment of the gym featuring new Technogym equipment and redesigned fitness spaces.

Additional enhancement projects are also planned as the estate seeks to reinforce its position within the luxury wellness market.

As General Manager, Griffin will oversee operations across the property’s 42 guest rooms and suites, nine standalone cottages, Michelin-starred Restaurant Hywel Jones, equestrian centre and 500 acres of listed parkland.

Commenting on his appointment, Griffin said: “I am thrilled to take on the leadership of Lucknam Park at such an exciting moment in its evolution. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the estate’s beauty, heritage and potential. The Cotswolds continues to be one of the UK’s most sought-after destinations, and Lucknam Park plays a defining role in that landscape. I look forward to building on its legacy, enhancing the guest experience and introducing a new level of wellness and hospitality to this remarkable property.”

The appointment marks a new phase for Lucknam Park as it continues to invest in both its hospitality and wellness offering, building on its reputation as one of the UK’s leading luxury country house destinations.
