Evok Collection has announced the appointment of Gilles Bontems as General Manager of Brach Paris, strengthening the leadership team at the flagship property of the Brach brand.

Bontems joins the Paris property with extensive experience across luxury hospitality, having built a career with some of the industry’s most recognised international hotel groups in France and abroad.
In his new role, he will oversee the continued development of Brach Paris, with responsibility for enhancing the guest experience, supporting operational excellence and reinforcing the property’s position within the international luxury hospitality market.
Prior to joining Evok Collection, Bontems served as Hotel Manager at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. His previous leadership positions include Hotel Manager and Director of Operations at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, as well as Director of Operations at Le Méridien Nice.
Throughout his career, he has also developed significant expertise within food and beverage operations and lifestyle-focused hospitality environments. His experience includes serving as Director of Food & Beverage at the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel, alongside a range of management positions across Switzerland, Belgium and France.
This broad operational background has equipped him with extensive knowledge of luxury hotel management, guest service delivery and team leadership.
As the flagship property of the Brach brand, Brach Paris has established itself as a distinctive lifestyle destination, combining hospitality, gastronomy, wellness and community engagement within a contemporary luxury setting.
The hotel is recognised for its unique approach to hospitality, creating an environment that serves as both a destination for visitors and an integral part of local Parisian life.
In his new position, Bontems will focus on strengthening the hotel’s reputation in both domestic and international markets while ensuring the property’s service standards continue to reflect the values and identity of the Brach brand.
His appointment supports Evok Collection’s wider strategy of developing hospitality destinations with strong individual identities, where personalised service, authenticity and attention to detail remain central to the guest experience.
The move also reflects the group’s continued commitment to investing in experienced leadership talent as it further strengthens its portfolio of luxury hospitality properties.
