Aramark UK Delivers £175 Million in Social Value and Supports Over 4,200 Local Jobs

June 18, 2026

Aramark UK has revealed it delivered more than £175 million in social value across the UK during 2025, reinforcing its commitment to investing in the communities where it operates.

The figure reflects activity across the company’s UK business and has been independently verified by the Social Value Portal against four key measures: economy, work, community and planet. The result demonstrates how Aramark is embedding social value into its day-to-day operations, translating commitments around employment, skills, supply chains and community engagement into measurable outcomes.

Across its workplace, education, government services and sports and entertainment sectors, Aramark delivered a range of tangible benefits throughout the year.

These included supporting more than 4,200 local jobs, helping people secure employment opportunities within their communities, and delivering over 4,050 weeks of apprenticeships to create long-term career pathways across the hospitality and services sectors.

The business also invested £1.8 million with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, helping to strengthen local supply chains while contributing to environmental objectives through more localised procurement.

In addition, Aramark employees contributed more than 1,400 hours of volunteering to support community initiatives throughout the UK. The company also donated £48,000 to charities and organisations including Natasha’s Allergy Research Foundation (NARF) and YoungMinds.

The scale of Aramark’s contribution was recognised by the Social Value Portal.

Guy Battle, CEO of Social Value Portal, said: “£175 million of independently validated Social Value in a single year is a significant result – one that reflects both ambition and strong execution. From 4,200 local jobs, to apprenticeship programmes, community volunteering days and millions of pounds of investment into local supply chains and small businesses, Aramark’s commitment to positive impact is delivering real, measurable benefit for communities.”

Aramark says it remains focused on building on this progress in the years ahead.

Victoria Joseph, Head of Communications & ESG at Aramark UK, said: “It’s an honour to see the positive difference our teams are consistently making across the UK. Behind every figure validated is a real outcome, whether that’s someone starting their career, a local business being supported, or a community organisation benefiting from our time and investment.

“This is just one step in a long-term journey grounded in our core values. By continuing to take a social-value-first approach to how we operate, we remain focused on creating even further opportunities and lasting positive impact that drives real change.”
