New operator Evergreen Escapes Group has added three more locations to its rapidly growing holiday park portfolio.

Aspen Lodge Escape, in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Cherry Bird Lodge Escape, in Newbury, West Berkshire and Willow Bay Lodge Escape, in Holsworthy, Devon are all now part of the Evergreen Escapes Group stable, having been previously acquired by its private equity backers.
Geoff Cowley, Chief Executive Officer, Evergreen Escapes Group, says it’s business as usual for guests and owners at each location, all of which align well with the group’s ambition to develop an industry-defining, scalable portfolio of between 15 and 20 aspirational holiday parks and flagship leisure resorts over the next five years.
He said: “Each of these three fantastic locations further brings to life the ‘escape the urban’ ethos at the heart of our brand and we look forward to working with our teams on park to ensure our guests and owners get the most from their stays. We’ll also be looking at opportunities to deploy smart capital that will extend the offer and further enhance guest experience.”
Aspen Lodge Escape, Cherry Bird Lodge Escape and Willow Bay Lodge Escape have all recently launched their own dedicated websites and are available for agents to book through Hoseasons.
They join the new operator less than three months after it completed the multi-million-pound acquisition of Doublebois Lodge Escape and St Mabyn Lodge Escape.
Meanwhile, the first phase of a multi-year refurbishment programme including new rooms and a renovated restaurant is now under way at The Manor and Ashbury Resorts, in Okehampton, Devon – the group’s first major acquisition last year.
