Isle of Eriska Hotel joins Accessible Hospitality Alliance membership

May 1, 2026

Isle of Eriska Hotel has become the latest hospitality operator to join Accessible Hospitality Alliance membership. Located on its own private island off Scotland’s west coast, the five-star hotel is part of the ICMI collection, further strengthening the group’s engagement with accessibility following Inverlochy Castle joining last month.

Set within 300 acres of island landscape and connected to the mainland by a single bridge, Isle of Eriska offers a distinctive hospitality experience shaped by its environment. The hotel features 34 individually designed rooms and suites, alongside a spa, leisure facilities, and destination dining.

Its addition to Accessible Hospitality Alliance brings a different operational context into the membership.

Island locations introduce specific considerations around access, movement, and infrastructure. Delivering accessibility in this setting requires a planned and integrated approach across the full guest journey.

The decision to join reflects that recognition.

Kerry Watson, Group Operations Manager, ICMI, said: “At the Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa and Island, true luxury means every guest feels welcome and valued.

“We are proud to stand alongside the Accessible Hospitality Alliance in championing more inclusive and accessible experiences across hospitality.”

As with Inverlochy Castle, the inclusion of Isle of Eriska Hotel builds a broader picture of how accessibility is being approached across the ICMI collection, not as an add-on, but as part of how hospitality is delivered.

Charlotte Evans, Group Partnerships Director, Accessible Hospitality Alliance

Charlotte Evans, Group Partnerships Director, Accessible Hospitality Alliance, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa and Island to the Accessible Hospitality Alliance. As they strengthen their commitment to accessibility, their focus on ensuring every guest feels truly welcome and valued reflects a more thoughtful, inclusive approach to luxury. We look forward to working with them as they continue to evolve and enhance their guest experience.”

The addition further diversifies Accessible Hospitality Alliance membership, extending the conversation into environments where both the challenges and opportunities are distinct.

It also reinforces a consistent direction.

A hospitality world that welcomes everyone is not shaped by uniform solutions, but by how individual operators respond within their own setting.
