TRGC, a leading UK travel hub hospitality operator, is pleased to announce the opening of a new Giraffe restaurant at Edinburgh Airport, marking a significant expansion of the brand within TRGC’s growing travel portfolio.

Located airside within the airport terminal, the new 179-cover restaurant will strengthen the airport’s casual dining concept, providing passengers with a dedicated full-service alternative to the current food and beverage offering currently available. Passengers can now enjoy Giraffe’s signature offering of an extensive all-day menu, serving up beloved international cuisine, from Asian street food to classic American burgers.
Purposefully designed around the needs of today’s traveller, the new Giraffe will feature a modern, relaxed interior tailored specifically for high-footfall airport environments. Drawing on TRGC’s extensive experience in airport dining, the space has been created to accommodate a broad mix of passengers, including families, leisure travellers and business passengers, while maintaining the welcoming, all-day dining atmosphere the brand is known for.
The opening reflects growing demand from passengers for higher quality pre-flight dining experiences as air travel continues to recover and expand. Edinburgh Airport is expected to see hundreds of thousands of departing passengers during the first week of trading alone, presenting a significant opportunity to enhance the passenger journey through a compelling dine-in offer.
The launch also marks the latest milestone in TRGC’s ongoing partnership with Giraffe, representing their sixth concept together as the partnership continues to focus on scaling the brand across high-footfall travel environments.
Stephanie Wear, Chief Commercial Officer at Edinburgh Airport, said: “We know people are hungry to travel and we want to cater for that. Bringing Giraffe to the airport adds to the strong family offer of food and drink options we have for passengers.
“With both a full-service restaurant and a convenient takeaway option, it gives passengers international cuisine with flexibility and choice – and full stomachs before heading off on that well-earned break.”
