This spring, Kobe Mayfair opened its doors just off Dover Street in the heart of Mayfair, specialising in the prized Japanese beef cut, Kobe Wagyu, alongside an extensive selection of premium steaks sourced from around the world.

At the heart of the menu is an impressive selection of Wagyu beef sourced from across the globe, including Argentina, Chile, England, Australia and, of course, Japan for the coveted Kobe beef. Kobe Mayfair offers something for every occasion and appetite. Delivering luxury dining without the intimidating price tag often found in the area. Guests can personalise their steak experience with classic sauces including peppercorn, chimichurri, béarnaise and blue cheese.

While the steaks are undeniably the star of the show, the starters deserve equal attention. The Wagyu tataki is a standout signature dish, delicately topped with fresh winter truffle and ponzu for a rich yet balanced flavour profile that perfectly sets the tone for the meal ahead.

To pair, Kobe’s cocktail selection offers a range of refreshing, spicy and sweet drinks inspired by Japanese flavours from the Miyazaki with mango & ginger shrub & blanco tequila, or the Saga with lychee & dragon fruit lemon foam. Guests can also choose from their ‘Old Classics’ with a twist like the Yuzu Margarita & Mt Fuji Old fashioned.
