Steigenberger Hotels GmbH is strengthening its operational leadership: Effective May 1, 2026, Mario von Hoesslin will assume the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Director. In this role, he will work alongside CEO Dr. Stephan Hungeling and CFO Choon Wah Wong to shape the company’s continued development, with particular responsibility for operational management and the implementation of strategic initiatives.
Most recently, Mario von Hoesslin served as COO Central Europe at Essendi and brings many years of international experience in the hotel and tourism industry.
