Virgin Hotels Collection has announced the appointment of Paloma Martinez as Vice President of Operations, Americas. In this expanded role, Martinez will oversee operations across the brand’s U.S. Virgin Hotels portfolio.

This new role includes oversight of key Virgin Limited Edition properties in the region, including Necker Island and Branson Beach Estate. She will be responsible for driving operational excellence, elevating service standards, and enhancing the guest experience across the Collection’s diverse portfolio.
Martinez brings over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, having led operations across 13 countries. Her career spans prestigious roles with InterContinental Hotels Group, Six Senses, and Kimpton Hotels, among others, where she consistently elevated guest experiences, optimized performance, and spearheaded property openings and turnarounds.
A passionate and globally-minded hotelier, Martinez is known for her strategic leadership, innovative thinking, and ability to inspire teams. She has a proven track record of enhancing service standards while maximizing results, combining deep operational expertise with a genuine commitment to luxury hospitality.

Martinez holds a BA in International Business and Finance from St. Louis University and has completed an executive program at Cornell University. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian, she has also been recognized with numerous industry awards, including IHG’s Next Thinking GM Award and Spain’s Top 100 Leading Women Award.
