Glaziers Hall, the Livery Hall and corporate events venue on the South Bank in London, has agreed to a four-year extension to its catering contract with Life’s Kitchen.

Retaining its position as resident catering partner for the venue, Life’s Kitchen will continue to provide high quality dining experiences for up to 350 guests, creating seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Having developed the partnership since 2023, the standards are now set as both companies work together to meet with the increasingly complex requirements for events including press and media days, product launches, conferences, AGMs, speaker events, Livery dinners and weddings.

Managing Director of Glaziers Hall, Will Simmonds, comments: “Since we formalised our relationship with Life’s Kitchen it has gone from strength to strength.

“Not only do we share the same high standards, but our approach is very similar too, which means we can deliver the experience that our clients expect and that has become synonymous with the venue.

“We know that this news will be welcomed by our clients and that the delicious food provided by the chefs at Life’s Kitchen is one of the reasons that many of them choose to rebook throughout the year.

“Having a team on site makes all the difference and we are pleased to be continuing with this partnership.”

Managing Director at Life’s Kitchen, Nick Levens, comments: “We are very pleased to announce that our partnership with Glaziers Hall, as resident catering partner for the venue, will continue for a further four years.

“Working together, we have shown how our systems and processes are complemented by our need to deliver the very best service for our clients. It is this attention to detail and shared ambition that makes this relationship so solid.

“We look forward to working with the team and to developing menus that turn events into experiences.”

Glaziers Hall has seven unique spaces available including the Banqueting Suite, The River Room, The Bridge Room, The Thames Room, The Court Room, The Library and the London Bridge Arches. With capacity of up to 350, the building can be hired exclusively, or clients can choose one of the event spaces to meet their specific requirements.

Glaziers Hall is a Livery building leased by The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, The Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers and The Worshipful Company of Launderers.

Originally built by Hays Wharf as a butter and bacon warehouse, when the trade on the Thames declined after the Second World War, the building fell into disuse.

Today, Glaziers Hall is a beautiful contradiction, an historic building full of charm, yet complemented with the latest technology and modern facilities. Each of its spaces offers an entirely unique experience.

With breathtaking views of the River Thames across to the City of London, the venue offers the perfect backdrop for private and corporate functions.

The crests of all three Livery Companies can be found throughout the Hall and are displayed prominently on the walls and chairs within the Court Room, which is still used for official business by the Liverymen to this day.
