Japan’s Newest Luxury Hotel Is Offering a Ferrari F1 Race Weekend

March 15, 2026

With the surge in luxury sports tourism, I’m excited to share a new experience tied to the 2026 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix (March 29, 2026). ESPACIO Nagoya Castle, Japan’s newest ultra-luxury hotel and official partner of Scuderia Ferrari, has launched an exclusive Ferrari-hosted race weekend for high-end travelers.

The limited 2-night experience centers around the legendary Suzuka Circuit, where guests will watch the final race from the Ferrari team’s Paddock Club suite while enjoying a VIP hospitality lunch with the Scuderia Ferrari HP F1 Team. Race day includes helicopter transfers to Suzuka, private chauffeur service, Ferrari Paddock Club access, the Drivers’ Parade and Pit Lane experience, and the Grand Prix Final Race followed by celebratory dining back at the hotel.

Beyond the race itself, the itinerary reflects the growing intersection of elite motorsport and luxury hospitality. Guests stay at ESPACIO Nagoya Castle, located directly across the moat from Nagoya Castle. The newly opened property immerses guests in Japanese craftsmanship and samurai-era aesthetics, with suites showcasing gold leaf, lacquer artistry, kumiko latticework, and karakami paper. The hotel also features a full restaurant floor serving French, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine alongside ESPACIO SPA, where natural hot spring baths are drawn from deep beneath the hotel.

For North American travelers making the long-haul journey to Japan, the experience can be paired with a stopover at sister property ESPACIO The Jewel of Waikiki, an ultra-exclusive Forbes Five-Star boutique hotel overlooking Waikiki Beach. The property has just nine residential-style suites, each occupying an entire floor and spanning 2,250 square feet with three bedrooms, a private sauna, chef’s kitchen, and spa-clad ocean-view balcony. ESPACIO Waikiki is also Hawaii’s only culinary-inclusive luxury boutique hotel, meaning guests can dine complimentary throughout their stay – whether poolside, in-suite, or at the property’s acclaimed tasting menu restaurant, Mugen.
