Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay Opens on Renowned Grace Bay Beach

March 4, 2026

Hotel News is Sponsored by HEWI

Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts and managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, is now open as the brand’s first hotel in Turks & Caicos. Nestled steps from the island’s famed turquoise waters, the 56‑room hotel celebrates Grace Bay as a neighbourhood to explore — its laid‑back rhythms, local makers and coastal stories.

Crafted for the curious traveller, Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay blends relaxed comfort with thoughtfully curated moments: locally inspired design, rotating art gallery, and public spaces that invite lingering conversation, and culinary experiences shaped by island flavours. The result is an intimate tropical escape that invites discovery at every turn. The property is just 400 meters from Grace Bay Beach, one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated stretches of sand and 15 minutes from Providenciales International Airport.

A pristine white‑sand backdrop sets the scene. The design‑forward property blends whimsical serenity with lively local colour, a patterned infinity pool, bright furnishings and modern comforts invite both relaxation and play. Guests can spend long days basking on powder‑soft sand as clear turquoise waters lap the shore.

Each of the hotel’s 56 guest rooms balances playful energy and elegant comfort, harmoniously blending crisp contemporary touches with colourful décor and soft, sun-washed tones. Accommodations suit couples, families, solo travellers and multi‑generational groups, with interconnecting rooms available for larger parties. Modern amenities include dedicated workspaces, stylish bathrooms, and plush bathrobes. Throughout the hotel, vivid colour palettes, kite‑surfing motifs, woven textural wall art and timber paneling that reveal tropical patterns create a lively yet calming atmosphere.

Two dining outlets bring neighbourhood flavour to the hotel. Il Forno offers casual Italian fare with a Caribbean twist, from oven-baked pizzas and relaxed breakfasts to rum-forward evening cocktails and local bites. Brango serves specialty urban coffee and all-day light fare, a convenient stop for take-away or a relaxed sit-down.

Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay brings neighbourhood convenience to island time. Amenities include an infinity courtyard pool with daybeds, an outdoor cinema, a bespoke boutique and inviting gathering nooks designed for conversation and pause. Complimentary cruiser bicycles and suggested coastal routes encourage gentle explorations; a buggy drop‑off to Grace Bay Beach makes getting to the sand effortless. Curated beach setups, towels, chairs, umbrellas and sunblock, plus kayaks, paddleboards and snorkeling gear support easy days on the water. For guests seeking more, excursions from scuba diving to jet skiing can be arranged.

Mark Illingworth, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay said: “As we officially open the doors to Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay, we are honored to welcome the Hotel Indigo brand – and IHG Hotels & Resorts – to our celebrated Caribbean island. We are delighted to share our piece of paradise with a new standard of hospitality, thoughtfully connecting guests to our vibrant culture with expressive design, indulgent culinary experiences, curated social spaces, and the exceptional hospitality of our team members at Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay.”
