FIVE, the signature rooftop restaurant at Hotel Calimala Milan, is now open. Set across the fifth and sixth floors of Hotel Calimala Milan, FIVE brings a contemporary day-to-night dining experience to the vibrant Porta Venezia district, blending urban energy with timeless style.
An all-day destination, FIVE follows the rhythm of the city, with a bright, relaxed atmosphere by day, seamlessly transitioning between long social lunches and work meetings, before blending into golden aperitivo hours. In the evening, the atmosphere shifts as the soft-lit space is complemented by candlelight and the curated playlists take on a late-night soundtrack, creating a lively and convivial neighbourhood destination. Guests have the option to dine in the main dining room or in The Salon, featuring cosy lounge-style seating, ideal for pre-dinner imbibing or aperitivo.
FIVE offers a contemporary take on Italian cuisine, with bold and vibrant flavours led by seasonal ingredients and designed for sharing. Highlights include the agnolotti with potatoes and Parmigiano Reggiano in a lemon-butter and sage sauce, and the risotto with roasted zucchini cream, Parmigiano Reggiano, finished with citrus zest. Signature mains are centred around comfort while showcasing culinary precision, including the cheeseburger, served on a milk bun with rémoulade and the classic steak and fries with peppercorn sauce. Each dish reflects a playful yet sophisticated approach to modern Italian cuisine.
Anchoring the experience is the cocktail program, where guests can enjoy both classic favourites like the Negroni and Aperol Spritz, as well as signature creations such as The Tiramisù, White Lotus, and Mazcalita Sumak. In April, FIVE will open its outdoor terrace and pool deck, which boasts one of the city’s only rooftop swimming pools.
